Volunteering Our Time to Help Horses
Our Youth had a fantastic time volunteering at the Extreme Mustang Makeover on September 17. We witnessed some incredible horsemanship that truly inspired us to connect even more with our wonderful Arabians!
The North Texas Arabian Horse Youth Club welcomes all youth under age 18 to join us for fun, learning and friendship! Whether you are a national competitor, a beginning rider or simply a horse lover, we would love to meet and get to know you. Anyone who is interested in horses is welcome to participate. Ownership and riding experience are not required!
Benefits of membership:
- Get to know and do fun things with other horse lovers.
- Fun gatherings like games on horseback, retreats, and parties.
- Ability to take on leadership roles. Such positions not only help our youth learn to lead, but also look great on college and scholarship applications as well as resumés!
- Help the equestrian community with service projects such as Catch the Spirit and the Extreme Mustang Makeover. Members can earn community service hours for school.
The cost of most activities is covered by money we earn
selling homemade horse cookies and championship garlands.
